Hi Brian,

We had in mind that the meeting would primarily be to discuss strategy, in particular in relation to affordable housing provision. We had a call with Richard a month or so ago, so saw this as an extension to that conversation.

Perhaps we could do a meeting in two parts, strategic with Richard and Robin, and then you and I catch up on the technical matters?

If this suits, please let me know your availability this week, so we can set this up.

Many thanks
Marie

Hi Marie,

Not to worry. I used the opportunity to discuss matters with Transport and Nat Environment colleagues, so the time was not wasted.

Yes, I am happy for a Team’s meeting. I would say, I’m  not sure Richards attendance is necessary for technical matters, unless there is wider strategic matters you wish to discuss. Can you confirm the intended purpose of the meeting? So I can ensure the right people can be there.

With regard to planning matters, I’ve a fair few to run through at this stage. These are based not only on the content of consultation responses and feedback received, but on the wider content of the submission and the substantial scope allowed by the parameters plans proposed.

As discussed previously, there will need to be some focused refinement of these matters, along with more specific technical matters like the extent of highways land to the VR frontage. The street typologies need revisiting to allow the necessary widths to be provided, and the scale of the development needs looking at carefully as informed by adjoining development and daylight/sunlight reports.

I will also be flagging again the AH position with regard to the outline consent, and the fact following further work on this, we will need a far more comprehensive submission to be provided and clear position to be taken.

As you will appreciate, until the above matters are resolved, the item cannot progress any further than it has done at present.

Thanks

Brian

Hi Brian,

Firstly, apologies if I missed an RSP meeting today. I was in other meetings this morning, and didn’t spot that an invite had come through until this afternoon.

On RSP, would it be possible to book in some time with you and Richard next week? We should only need 30 mins max. Robin and I have availability most days, so let me know what suits and I can circulate a invite.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks
Marie
